Alexandra Koszeghy

Alexandra Koszeghy is from Tampa, Florida. She studied classical ballet under the tutelage of Haydée Gutierrez and took jazz and contemporary classes at All American Dance Factory (AADF) in Tampa, Fl. At AADF, Alex was heavily influenced by Andy Pellick, a guest teacher and choreographer of many of her solos. Pursuing both her interest in classical ballet and jazz/contemporary, Alex attended multiple conventions such as NYCDA and Pulse, where she won regional teen outstanding dancer and pulse protégé respectively. Alex was the winner of the Youth America Grand Prix at YAGP Dallas 2009 and was awarded the bronze medal at World Ballet Competition 2010. Alex was accepted into and attended the Miami City Ballet School on full scholarship. In recent years, Alex has become more involved in contemporary choreography. Her choreography has been recognized at the Youth America Grand Prix where her students have placed in the Top 12 Contemporary at YAGP in 2012, 2013, and 2014. Alex currently attends the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she is majoring in Psychology.
